I recently started a small project at my house. I contacted RC Goodwyn Lumber for the lumber requirements, since I needed a slew of 12ft long lumber and roofing metal. I came to the main office to order the materials. I don't recall the exact person's name, but they were super helpful and assured me a smaller truck would be delivering it due to tight driveway space. The next day the deliver driver called before arriving, and as promised was in a smaller truck. He even used the forklift to place the materials in my back yard so I wouldn't need to move it all by hand. I realized a few days later I did not estimate enough lumber, and so I called to order more and had the same experience. I stopped by the hardware store to pick up hangers, screws and other odds and end. The staff at the hardware store was equally friendly and super helpful. Did I mention the prices we comparable on the lumber and the hardware store to those of the big box stores? You guys are doing a great job with customer service. Thank you!

Love RC Goodwynn's hardware store and the guys in there.  Broke my rake yesterday so I went to get a new one today, at the counter he said for a couple extra bucks the yellow one is a lot nicer and has a lifetime warranty.  He was right, heavier duty commercial style lifetime warranty, cheaper than Lowe's that didn't have a lifetime warranty!

I love this place... So much better than having to drive all the way into town to go to Lowes. They always have what I need and the prices are the same, if not better than the big stores.

I wanted something different and unique to use for mantle brackets for my new stone fireplace that was going to be installed. I went to Goodwyn Lumber, and they sent me down to the wood shop to talk to Greg and John. They showed shapes to me that they could use to cut into the edge of the wood I selected. Not only that, but 4 hours later, I was able to go back and pick it up at the end of my work day. I stained them gray and coated with polyurethane, and they we installed this past weekend. I love the uniqueness of these special pieces, thanks to Greg and John helping me come up with something different!!

Great people and prices are competitive. The quality of materials is great. I was making some kitchen cabinets so I needed clean materials. They hand picked the materials I needed to make sure it was the highest quality available. I will definitely go back.

This is my favorite place to go for hardware needs. They don't stock all the things that the big box stores do. But the are friendly, always available, willing, and able to answer questions correctly. They are in a very convenient location too. And their prices are competitive.
